This month we met Sallyanne Marson, a fashion, beauty and travel influencer from the small country of Rutland.
We sat down with Sallyanne to discuss her celebrity style inspiration, her personal styling tips as well as all things boots
How would you describe your style in three words?
Elegant, classic, and feminine
What five pieces are a must-have in your wardrobe?=
A blazer, white shirt, skinny jeans, a shirt dress and boots to take you from the country into the city!
What do you look for when it comes to purchasing new wardrobe staples?
I like to invest in timeless classics, and as my wardrobe is mainly neutral colours, I’ll add pieces that I know will work in multiple ways.
Talk us through your style inspiration.
My celebrity style inspiration will always be Sarah Jessica Parker both on screen as Carrie Bradshaw and off screen. To be ever evolving and never without a fabulous pair of shoes!
Have you always been confident in your style or is it something that has come to you with age?
I’ve always been interested in fashion, particularly different fabrics as my mum was a seamstress. Having previously worked in retail fashion over the years I’ve discovered what suits me and what I love to wear (if you love your outfit, you naturally wear it better!).
We're all about ageless style here at DuoBoots, do you have any tips for women who might be feeling unsure of their style as they get older?
Use the stores personal shopping services. Usually free, the stylists can suggest outfits that you wouldn’t normally try. Or look at Instagram accounts of women who are a similar shape and height, and see what they wear on a daily basis.
How will you be styling your DuoBoots this season?
With cosy knit dresses, light layers of different textures and a wrap coat. All in the beautiful colours of Autumn.
